What to Expect
Check in — tell us you need an X-ray or EKG
For X-rays: a technician will position you and take the needed images (usually 10-15 minutes)
For EKGs: small electrode patches are placed on your chest, arms and legs (takes about 5 minutes)
A provider reviews your results right away
For fractures: splinting, bracing, or a referral to orthopedics if needed
You receive a copy of your results for your records or follow-up doctor
